Scheduled tasks
A site can run commands on a schedule, like cron: every 5 or 15 minutes, every hour, every day or every Sunday.
Add a task
On the site's page, under Scheduled tasks, select Add task, choose when it runs and type the command, for example:
php private/app/artisan schedule:run
Times are in UTC. The panel shows each task's next run in UTC and in your own time.
How a task runs
- As the site's own user, in the site's folder, with
/bin/sh. - In a sandbox: it can only write to the site's own folders, and can't gain more rights.
- With limits: half a CPU, 512 MB of memory, and one hour per run. A run that's still going when the next one is due is not started twice.
- Every process it starts ends with the run.
The panel shows the last runs, whether they worked, and their output. Turning a task off stops a run that's still going.
